This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
For all who don't know what Samhain or Samaín means, here is the explanation:
Halloween have its origins in a celtic celebration called "Samhain". Here in Galicia (Northwest of Spain and one of the Seven Celtic Nations) the name of this celebration is "Samaín".
Samhain or Samaín marked the end of the harvest, the end of the "lighter half" of the year and beginning of the "darker half". Many scholars believe that it was the beginning of the Celtic year. It has some elements of a festival of the dead. The Celts believed that the border between this world and the otherworld became thin on Samhain.
MORE ABOUT MY HOMELAND AND ITS CELTIC TRADITION:
Galicia or Galiza is the less known of the Seven Celtic Nations. Its destiny through the last centuries under Spain's dominion has condemned it to the oblivion of the world, but its actual Celtic spirit has survived and it's yet alive.
The name Galicia comes from the Latin name Gallaecia, associated with the name of the ancient Celtic tribe that resided above the Douro river, the Gallaeci or Callaeci in Latin, and Kallaikoi in Greek (these tribes were mentioned by Herodotus).
Galicia is fresh and verdant, it has gushing rivers and a coastline more reminiscent of Scotland than Spain. The weather is cool often misty and the land is impregnated with an age-old magical atmosphere.
I'm glad you liked it. ^^
